The diversity of the programme and our venues mirrors the uniqueness of Glasgow’s cultural scene. From the family friendly Cineworld, the beautiful Art Deco surroundings of Glasgow Film Theatre and iconic music venues throughout the city, the festival now stretches across 17 city venues, so there really is something for everyone.
The film selection has been divided into 15 strands to make it easier for you to identify the films which most interest you. Within these strands are our ‘festivals within the festival:’ The Youth Film Festival, the Short Film Festival and the Music and Film Festival, co-curated with our friends at the Arches. Each film listing is colour coded and signposted with its appropriate strand throughout this brochure.
We always strive to keep our ticket prices as low as possible and want to make sure the festival is accessible to everyone in terms of cost – we don’t bump up the prices just because it’s festival time! So alongside being able to purchase tickets from only £4 you can also take advantage of some great accommodation and restaurant deals.
